HALF-DAY WINE TOUR
A Private Wine Tour By RiverLoire
Your RiverLoire wine expert will come and pick you up at either 9:15 am or 2:00 pm to drive you to the beautiful Valléede la Brenne. Enroute, you will spot some of the most prestigious “demeures” of the region. Your guide will describe and explain to you everything there is to know about a very much alive concept in the Touraine area, the “Troglodytes” houses.
After driving through some 2000 hectares of vineyards, a short drive will take you to one of the most spectacular troglodyte wine cellars located near Vouvray, with its top rated wine production. A private tour and wine tasting of some of the best wines the region has to offer is included.
A scenic drive along the Loire and through Montlouis-sur-Loire will lead us to Saint-Martin-le-Beau for the visit of a private wine cellar located in an elegant privately owned property, which opens its gates to the RiverLoire guests only. Wine and cheese tasting is on the program. A great approach to some of the best regional wines, and cheese.
