Château Tour: Chenonceau and Chaumont
A gourmet lunch is arranged inside the park with an impressive view of the chateau. Then, a 20 minutes drive will take us to the Château of Chaumont sur Loire, another icon of the Loire Valley , nested at the bottom of a populated park of immense cedars trees. The Château of Chaumont dominates the peaceful course of the Loire since a relatively high headland, and offers a beautiful view on the Loire Valley. The day is not finished quiet yet and what a better way to end the adventure by an aperitif on the banks of the peaceful Loire... A RiverLoire “plus” to call it a day... Château Tour: Villandry, Azay le Rideau, Usse
An early morning departure will take you to the amazing Château of Villandry . From there we will drive along the shores of the Loire to Usse before a stop well deserved at the Château of Usse ( "The Sleeping Beauty Castle"). We will tell you all the secrets of the famous “Poire tapée” and take you to little local shops on the way if you which to... Lunch at Azay le Rideau just before the visit of the very graceful Renaissance Château of Azay le Rideau. Château Tour: Chambord and Cheverny
After a drive around Chambord to get the best view of the edifice, you will get some time to enjoy the park beautifully preserved. You might even get the chance to see the horses at work! Chambord is a magnificent château, by far the largest and most impressive in the Loire Valley. The design is suggested to have been initiated by Leonardo Da Vinci, under the sovereignty of Francois 1st. After lunch, we will go to the Château of Cheverny. The most magnificently-furnished of all the Loire Valley châteaux. Back to Amboise through the small roads to discover some hidden gems of the Loire Valley. Loire Valley Garden Tour
This is a a full day tour in between privately owned gardens of small Châteaux and the outstanding gardens of the Château of Chaumont, an icon of the Loire Valley. We will start going through the lush and green Vallée de la Brenne to arrive at a private Chateau where balustrades, statues and fountains are dotted through the park, creating a range of different atmospheres. On route then to the Château of Chaumont. Nested at the bottom of a populated park of immense cedars trees, the château dominates the peaceful course of the Loire since a relatively high headland. On the way back to Amboise, you will enjoy a cool glass of Sparkling Vouvray contemplating the Loire and facing the Castle of Amboise. What a better way to appreciate a sunset and end the day!
